Natural Resources and Ecotourism Workshop

Natural resources and ecotour business owners are encouraged to attend. Participants will learn about the potential impacts that sea level rise will have on the Matanzas area, from St. Augustine to Palm Coast, and provide input towards future planning scenarios. Local realtors, developers, builders, and business owners are encouraged to attend. Participants will learn about the potential impacts that sea level rise will have on the Matanzas area, from St. Augustine to Palm Coast, and provide input towards future planning scenarios. The workshop will be help from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at  GTM NERR office in Marineland. PAST WORKSHOPS

December 5th, 2012

Palm Coast and Coastal Community Residents Workshop

Palm Coast and Coastal residents will have the opportunity to provide input on the project and learn about the most current science on sea level rise. Potential scenarios developed by UF leading researchers will be presented to the stakeholders. Residents will have the opportunity to participate from either 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. or 5:30p.m – 8:30p.m.  The workshop will be held at the GTM NERR Marineland Office in St. Augustine, FL. December 6th, 2012

St. Augustine Residents Workshop

St. Augustine residents will have the opportunity to provide input on the project and learn about the most current science on sea level rise. Potential scenarios developed by UF leading researchers will be presented to the stakeholders. Residents will have the opportunity to participate from either 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. or 5:30p.m – 8:30p.m.  The morning workshop will be held at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and the evening workshop will be held at the Flagler College Ringhaver Student Center.
