The project’s Matanzas Basin Steering Committee is composed of diverse local government and private stakeholder representatives in the area. Through a structured collaborative process with the project team, the committee meets quarterly to provide input to help shape planning scenarios, visualizations, and communication products. Throughout the planning process, the committee will pre-test the public workshop formats and techniques. The project team in consultation with the Steering Committee will synthesize social and technical analyses to identify the most important findings to bring to stakeholder groups and the public.
